Astra Round downlight is entirely designed with the aid of CAD/CAM softwares along with the latest lighting technology, and by using the robust raw material utilized in aeronautical engineering namely composite materials (Polycarbonate) for the purpose of weight reduction and aluminum alloys for optical reflection and light distribution.
The polycarbonate structural body gives the downlight a futuristic and innovative design aspect as well as a weight inferior to 800gm, thus facilitating its installation in the false ceiling and limiting the constraints of weight, which risk the deformation of the ceiling structure.
The treated aluminium reflector is designed to obtain an optimal light distribution with high efficiency. The advanced spherical curvatures make use of every light beam and reduces their scattering to a minimum level.
Every downlight is supplied with an electric cable designated to seperate it from the gear box in order to eliminate the effect of heat generated by the ballasts as well as weight concentration, all in accordance to the latest security and internationals norms.

The mounting and dismounting of the security glass needs only the application of a gentle manual pressure.
